Courses in Langley March/April 2016
We are now running a set of courses in Langley starting March 28, 2016.
You will get new updated (to the new Standard Practice Manual) text books.
Learn the new SPM V3 while learning how to be a ROWP.

Course in Duncan June 2015We are having only OS Intsall from June 1 through 3, 2015.
Remember you need to to OS Intro at home, hopefully before the in class courses.
The instructor is booked.
There are still seats available for OS Install only.

Accommodations for Duncan;
Cowichan Valley Inn (Best Western) 6474 Trans Canada Hwy 250-748-2722. This hotel is closest to our class-room, but does not offer kitchen suites.
The Travel lodge @ 140 Trans Canada Hwy @ 250-748-4311 - offers Kitchen suites
We would not recommend Super 8, last time the courses were offered at our place, a student reported bed bugs in his room. The student chose this hotel because it had a kitchen suite.
We will look forward to seeing you there.
We are planning another run of courses in the fall in Langley.
BCOSSA Confrence, Educaton Day and 19th AGM
The board members recieve 1 CPD for each meeting or teleconference.
The Board is all staying with BCOSSA to work on our next steps.
You can earn 12 CPDs for being employed or self-employed in a techcical, leadership, management or supervisory capasity.
You can earn 3 CPDs for membership in a relevant learned society, so become a member of BCOSSA.
Those who attended the conference earn 1 CPD, if you took a course you also earn 1 CPD, if you spoke at our conference you earn 3CPDS.
The course designers/presenters also earn 3 CPDS.
Subsribing to and reading a discipline related journal etc you can earn 3 CPDs.
- 12 for working in a supervation capacity in the industry
- 3 for being a BCOSSA Member
- 3 for subscribing to a relevant journal
- 1 for attending a conference
- 1 for taking a relevant day of education
- or be a BCOSSA Board member and earn 1 CPD per meeting
